Alex Tami, the owner and operator, of Sugo on Surrey is local to Guelph and has been working in the restaurant industry since a teenager. It was his dream of opening a restaurant since he attended culinary school at Canadore College. He has been a great supporter of Guelph businesses and has made it his mission to use Sugo on Surrey as a platform for Guelph businesses to get their names out to the public. He’s looking forward to serving the City of Guelph some good food while giving the best service in his hometown.
Mike is from Waterloo but is very familiar with the County of Wellington. The father of 2 boys has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, starting his journey doing dishes and has moved up to General Manager and has even owned his own Cafe. Mike is a big fan of the Craft and local food movement.
Brian was raised in the restaurant industry, as he began learning how to cook at an early age in his grandparents country restaurant in the Hamilton area. He was always interested in what his Italian grandmother was cooking and would jump at the opportunity to lend a hand. Brian has worked as an executive chef in several restaurants in Southern Ontario and strives to continue his development, passion and creativity for culinary greatness.
